Skids are sealed to glide on top of the ground, It's not just hollow tube cut on an angle. Tubing is cut, bent, and welded 100% shut to make the skid.
All welded construction. 1.5" x 1/8" square tubing. Where applicable, exposed ends of horizonal tubing are deburred but are not capped/plugged. Plastic press-in plugs are available from hardware stores or online. Welds (as pictured) will show fillet, and will not be ground down 100% smooth. Welds will be sufficiently dressed to be free of buckshot and burrs.
